Confidentiality


Information that you share with your therapist will be held in confidence. It will not be shared without your consent or knowledge.
The exception to this would be if there are concerns for the safety of children or vulnerable adults.
All therapists are required to engage in supervision. They may discuss cases they are working with in supervision. This will be with another accredited therapist, even so theu will not reveal any information that could be used to identify the person that they are working with..

Keeping data safe


You will be entering into an agreement with the individual therapist and they will keep their own records. Each therapist will have their own method of storing information that they hold about you and will inform you of how this is done and for how long any information is kept.
